
Our business start-up workshops provide training to help you start and grow your business. They are friendly, informal and provide a great opportunity to meet and share experiences with people in similar situations to you. On successful completion of the course you will gain a SFEDI-accredited Level 1 Award in Understanding Enterprise qualification
This course is perfect both for anyone thinking of starting or who has recently started their own business.
Throughout the course you will learn about the skills and qualities needed to start your own business as well as the importance of business planning, how to market your business and how to manage money in business.
This course is broken down into three workshops:
– Understand the importance of business planning
– Understand how to market your business
– Understand how to manage money in a business
The workshops are delivered over three sessions, each approximately six hours long, and are held at St Helens Chamber with a new workshop series commencing every calendar month.
The workshops are led by our experienced team of advisers, who all have strong business experience, many having owned their own businesses in a variety of sectors and industries.
The workshops all run year-round and you do not need any previous knowledge or computer skills to attend.
