Brief Employer Description

Business Administration Apprentice to work for a local manufacturer of filters for personal protection, industrial, medical and pharmaceutical use.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Processing paperwork - matching delivery notes to orders, preparing delivery notes
Dealing with incoming/outgoing post, filing, typing minutes of meetings
Organising deliveries/collections
Preparing quotations, purchase orders & updating spreadsheets
Answering phones, welcoming visitors

Required Skills, Qualifications & Personal Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent use of spelling and grammar
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate

Required Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths A*- C

Required Personal Qualities

  • Willing to learn and use initiative

  • Need to be punctual and reliable

  • Must be enthusiastic and energetic

Further required skills

Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Able to create and modify spreadsheets, written documents, send and receive emails
Good oral and written communication skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy and able to understand instructions/adhere to processes
