Brief Employer Description

Admin Apprentice to work in the Head Office for a privately owned company specialising in security solutions

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Supporting the team with general administrative tasks such as post, filing, copying, faxing and scanning
Data entry onto the company's bespoke database
Receiving inbound and making outbound phone calls to members of the public
Using Outlook, Word and Outlook to communicate with internal and external shareholders

Required Skills, Qualifications & Personal Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent use of spelling and grammar
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good telephone manner
  • Computer literate

Required Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths A*- C

  • Keen to build career and stay with the company
  • Need to be punctual and reliable

Further required skills

GCSE's Grade 4 and above (or equivalent) in English
Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages would be preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Ability to complete tasks with a high level of attention to detail
Confidence to be able to deal with a wide range of people and various situations
