Secondary School based in Bootle which is part of a successful Trust.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Supervisor, to provide general administration support to the School. Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide reception services; answering telephone, providing basic information; producing documents, dealing with and sending information; directing enquiries to appropriate colleagues, taking messages, attending to visitors.
To support in the receiving, sorting and distributing of incoming/outgoing/internal and external mail in accordance with service standards.
To support with incoming correspondence from suppliers and other clients.
To support and help carry out clerical tasks including photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing and completion of documentation.
To support in responding to correspondence using standard letters/formats.
To support the upkeep of manual records and the inputting of computerised records and filing systems.
To support in the undertaking of typing and word processing as required.
To support with the arranging of meetings, book venues and appropriate refreshments and distribute related documentation as directed.
To support in the operation of office equipment eg photocopier, scanner, shredder, computer etc after instruction.
To support with the maintaining of stock and supplies of printing, stationery etc, cataloguing, distributing and reordering where necessary ensuring accurate records are maintained.
