Lasting up to 12 weeks this course is delivered from our purpose built training centre in St Helens. Every Trainee will receive a nationally recognised Health and Safety qualification from the British Safety Council and will have the option to choose modules based on career aspirations, choose from:
Construction Apprentices will develop practical skills in Joinery, Plastering, Painting and Decorating and will also have the chance to receive a CSCS card which is required to work on most Construction sites.
Warehousing Apprentices will develop a good base of knowledge of the Warehousing industry and gain the skills you need to succeed. Trainees will enhance their team work and communication skills while learning about professional customer care and the Principles of Warehousing and Storage.
Manufacturing Apprentices will make a timber product, carrying out the planning, design and whole process of manufacturing their products. Trainees will come away with practical Manufacturing experience on their CV alongside nationally recognised qualifications.
Whichever area you specialise in your training will be complemented by work experience in a relevant local business.
You’ll also be able to access help with English and Maths (if you need it) and training on producing your CV and perfecting your interview skills, which will all help to make you an outstanding candidate for when you have access to our exclusive Apprenticeship vacancies.
On successful completion, you will receive a toolkit worth over £100 to help you get started.
