A Sales Apprenticeship can provide you with great opportunities and and will give you a sense of accomplishment and pride with each new sale. One of the best parts of a career in sales is that each day is different; it’s hard for any sales person to describe their typical day because the role is very varied.
Opportunities for Sales Apprentices
Whilst completing a Sales Apprenticeship, you could be working in a call centre doing telesales jobs or dealing with customers face to face in a retail store; however you may have the opportunity to search for Apprenticeship jobs in a sales environment that matches your passion. If you love cars and have an interest the car industry you might find success doing car sales Apprenticeships, for example.
Whilst you will pick up skills particular to your industry, a Sales Apprenticeship will teach you the fundamentals of the role that you can go on to apply elsewhere. These transferable skills include an array of important skills such as communication, customer service and business awareness among many others, which will help show potential employers how valuable you would be to their company.
