Support with Redundancy

Facing redundancy can be a traumatic time. Starting Point is often contacted by employers and asked to offer advice on the employer’s premises prior to staff leaving.

We can deliver support and advice in a number of ways, for example delivering information sessions to large groups of people or offering one-to-one appointments.

If you or someone you know has been informed by an employer that a potential redundancy situation may occur, you can pass the details on to us and we will make contact to offer support.

If you have already been made redundant and are looking for support, please contact Starting Point to make an appointment. We can support you to find another job or take the opportunity to change career direction and re-train.

Self employment can often be an option for people who have been made redundant. If you are considering becoming self employed we can also arrange for you to see a Business Start up Adviser from the Chamber.
Thank you for your enquiry. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
