The intent of the program is to help parents have a ‘Greater Depth’ of understanding of how, what, and why their children learn what they do during their maths learning journey. This will help parents feel more confident when supporting their children at home within the subject and as a result they will not be afraid of helping their children with their Maths homework.
Digital Skills:
The aim of the program is to help and support parents understand the maths and computing National Curriculum and provide them with teaching strategies to help support them with their Children’s homework. We will also be offering sessions in schools if this is easier for parents to attend.
In addition to this, we will also be providing sessions over the holidays where both parents and their children can come in so they can see how these subjects are currently being taught in today’s classrooms.
These courses won’t just help with homework but are useful in the workplace, and to help you make sure your children are being safe online too!
