Book-keeping and Accounts (Level 1)

This introductory course will teach you everything you need to know to get started, including:

  • How to complete financial documents
  • Record cash and credit transactions
  • Understand petty cash systems

This qualification is aimed at adults who want to develop skills and knowledge required for working in the accounting sector, trainees will achieve the City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Book-Keeping and Accounts on successful completion of the course.


Book-Keeping and Accounts (Level 2)

This qualification aims to further develop the skills and knowledge of introductory bookkeeping practices and processes at Level 2. Throughout the course, trainees will cover:

  • Adjusting ledger accounts
  • Taking accounts of activities at the trial balance date
  • Profit and loss accounts
  • Balance sheets

On successful completion of the course learners will achieve the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Book-Keeping and Accounts.
