Bookkeeping and Accounts (Level 1)

This introductory course will teach you everything you need to know to get started, including:

  • How to complete financial documents
  • Record cash and credit transactions
  • Understand petty cash systems

This qualification is aimed at adults who want to develop skills and knowledge required for working in the accounting sector, trainees will achieve the City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping and Accounts on successful completion of the course.


Bookkeeping and Accounts (Level 2)

This qualification aims to further develop the skills and knowledge of introductory bookkeeping practices and processes at Level 2. Throughout the course, trainees will cover:

  • Adjusting ledger accounts
  • Taking accounts of activities at the trial balance date
  • Profit and loss accounts
  • Balance sheets

On successful completion of the course learners will achieve the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Bookkeeping and Accounts.
