Schools from all over the north west are heading to Rainford to take advantage of a Chamber Member’s unique offering.
After starting business four years ago in mobile device and computer repair, Tech Guys 360 Ltd made a major investment in opening a state of the art, dedicated Gaming Lounge in Rainford Village Hall last July. The Lounge is equipped with bespoke high end PCs with ergonomically designed gaming chairs for support and comfort over long periods. In addition, there are three Driving Simulators with 180 degree screens enabling anyone to safely put their foot to the floor. Ultrafast broadband speeds and ambient RGB lighting create a perfect environment for virtual fun.
Owner Neil Smith anticipated most demand would come from the general public through individual gamers and bookings for birthday parties and get togethers. However, it is the Education Sector which has really embraced the Gaming Lounge proposition.
Schools from Leyland and Skelmersdale have joined local schools in St Helens to utilise the facilities as part of motivation and reward programs for their pupils. SEN schools in particular have really embraced the potential for promoting and recognising good behaviour.
One of the key attractions of the Gaming Lounge is the ability to book exclusive use, combined with food and refreshments provided on site. The PCs are controlled by the best available gaming centre software which prevents misuse and controls age restricted content. This means that teachers can rest assured that inappropriate material is not available. The Gaming Lounge is a safe and secure environment which eliminates pupils’ risk from virtual exposure.
The Gaming Lounge is proving incredibly popular so please contact Neil Smith at neil@techguys360.co.uk or call 01744 410 554 to secure your slots.
