Entries are being sought for the Northern Tech Awards, which recognises the top 100 fastest growing technology companies.
Owned and managed by international technology investment banking group GP Bullhound, the awards will take place on the 22nd March in Edinburgh, celebrating the digital economy of the North of England and Scotland.
Held in association with Tech North, the awards aim to identify the UK’s next tech success stories that are capable of scaling to $1bn valuations and beyond.
Hugh Campbell, managing partner of GP Bullhound, said: “The exceptional growth of the digital economy in the North of England and Scotland in the past 12 months is testament to the unprecedented levels of talent, capital, and ambition in the region’s tech clusters.
“We have seen that the region is capable of consistently building billion-dollar firms – this year’s awards will seek to spotlight the next generation of success stories.”
Businesses can enter before 23 February 2018. The event celebrates tech firms that have had at least three years of revenue growth with a minimum level of revenue of £500,000 in 2015.
The Northern Tech Awards 2018 is presented by GP Bullhound as a not-for-profit event with the support and sponsorship of Barclays Bank, OBI Property, Squire Patton Boggs, Scottish Equity Partners, Aquiline Capital Partners, Berenberg, BGF Ventures, Frazer John Recruitment, Inflexion Private Equity, London Stock Exchange, Mercia Technologies, Tech North and Draw & Code.
