St Helens Chamber is working closely with local employers to create exciting opportunities for local people who are looking to start their careers.
The Chamber work with employers across many different industries to ensure that they have a wide range of vacancies at any one time – employers are also based across Merseyside too, so there’s plenty of opportunities for everyone.
One of these areas St Helens Chamber support with is the Hair and Beauty industry, the industry is booming and there are plenty of opportunities for local people to start their careers.
Training is available at The Chamber Hair and Beauty Academy, which is all designed to get applicants ready for local Apprenticeships and give them the exact skills employers are looking for.
Neil Rigby, Young People’s Development Manager at St Helens Chamber, explained: “We work closely with local employers to help match talented students with exciting local roles.
“At the moment we’re working with top salons in the area like Elite Hair, Hair Link, Indigo, Haus of Hair, Self-Love Salon and many more. The Chamber will make sure that the employer and Apprentice are supported and that both are getting the most from the Apprenticeship.”
St Helens Chamber also offer Apprenticeships in AAT Accountancy, Business Administration, Warehousing, Manufacturing and more. Employers can often access funding to hire an Apprentice and will be supported throughout the whole process.
