St Helens Chamber is proud to receive an award from City and Guilds recognising Apprentices’ achievements in their End Point Assessments.
The award recognises St Helens Chamber for “excellence in Apprenticeship delivery” and is a fantastic celebration of the hard work of their expert training team.
Lisa Weir, Head of Apprenticeships and Quality at St Helens Chamber, commented: “We’re proud to receive this fantastic award from City and Guilds and it is a great reflection of the hard work of both our Apprentices and our Training Advisers.
“This award was given to us as we have such a high rate of Apprentices achieving distinctions in their assessments. We strive to ensure that Apprentices get the most out of their training and so being given this award is a real testament to the work of the training team in ensuring that our programmes are of the highest quality.”
Through Apprenticeships, new or existing staff of any age can gain the knowledge, experience and skills needed to make a real difference in their business.
St Helens Chamber offer a range of Apprenticeship training programmes designed to add the skills employees need and update their qualifications.
Lisa continued: “The Chamber can tailor Apprenticeship training to fit the needs of the employer – and so all the training is specific to the Apprentice’s day to day roles. This means that both parties get the best possible return from the time invested into training.
“The tailoring of the training helps our Apprentice’s achieve these fantastic results too, as they are learning about areas directly relating to their roles and responsibilities. Students can put these into practice right away when carrying out their duties and see the impact of what they’ve learned, which spurs them on to learn more.”
This prestigious award has only been given to 100 training providers across the UK, and the Chamber is proud to have their hard work recognised and celebrate the achievements of their Apprentices.
Lisa added: “We take every opportunity we can to celebrate our Apprentice’s achievements – and will display this award with pride while we continue to deliver high quality training.
“It is great to work with City and Guilds on our Apprenticeship qualifications, and the support really is fantastic – we look forward to continuing to work with them on our Apprenticeship programmes.”
