St Helens Chamber is pleased to announce that it has been successful in securing funding for free short courses for Adults.

Through the Adult Education Budget, St Helens Chamber can offer a range of courses designed to add valuable skills to the CVs of people across the Liverpool City Region.

Courses range from Accountancy through to Warehousing and are delivered by experienced Training Advisers who will provide advice and support throughout the course.

Laura Brogden, Head of Career Development at St Helens Chamber, explained: “We are proud to be one of 16 training providers who retained this vital funding. The Chamber has a great record of success through our free courses and have supported 1124 people to learn and develop new skills over the past 12 months.

“We look forward to continuing this over the coming months and adding even more exciting training courses too.”

Anyone aged 19+ who is a resident in the Liverpool City Region can take advantage of the free training on offer from St Helens Chamber.

Training is delivered across the Chamber’s four locations in St Helens: St Helens Chamber, Clickworks, The Chamber Hair and Beauty Academy and Construction Training Centre.

Laura added: “The Chamber has a strong training team, and we strive to deliver the best quality training and give learners the skills that local employers are looking for. Our courses stand out because we work with local employers to find out what skills they need and ensure that our courses fill these gaps.

“No matter what course learners choose, they will be able to access extra support through our National Careers Service team who can help with interview skills, CV writing and much more.”

Training courses will continue to be delivered all year round at St Helens Chamber, and with many courses having accredited qualifications on completion, they provide a great way for local jobseekers to get the skills they need to get back into work.
