St Helens Chamber has successfully re-registered for the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, meaning their successful Apprenticeship training can continue.
To drive up the quality of Apprenticeship training, the government have introduced more stringent entry criteria for the register meaning providers need to reapply to ensure they are still hitting the correct standards.
Lisa Weir, Head of Apprenticeships and Quality, commented: “It is a testament to the hard work of our training and quality teams that we have been successful in re-registering.
“The entry criteria are much more stringent, but we have been able to hit the mark again and we’re really proud of our top quality Apprenticeship provision.”
St Helens Chamber offer Apprenticeships to people of all ages and career levels, from 16 year olds starting their career to experienced managers looking to refresh and develop their skills.
Lisa commented: “We’ve got a really varied offer of Apprenticeships, and each one can be tailored to your business’ needs. Anyone at any level can learn and develop, and Apprenticeships are a great way to do that.
“For young people, Apprenticeships provide a way for them to get hands on experience while getting the qualifications they need to stand out to future employers. There really is something for everyone and we would encourage anyone interested to come and see us to find out more.”
