Given the current situation we are facing with the Coronavirus crisis, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the St Helens Chamber Business Awards until the Autumn.

Sponsored by Inspired Energy and supported by Bericote Properties, Lexus Liverpool and NatWest, the St Helens Chamber Annual Dinner & Business Awards will take now take place on the 15th October at Totally Wicked Stadium.

Tracy Mawson, Deputy Chief Executive at St Helens Chamber, commented: “It was a tough decision to postpone the awards, but as the situation escalated it became clear that it would no longer be possible to host the awards in May as originally planned.

“We know how valued the Awards have become in recent years as a way of celebrating the best of St Helens Businesses, so we have made the decision to delay until October, hoping that this will give business time to recover from the current crisis, and provide an opportunity for celebration to look forward to.”

The delay in the awards ceremony also means that the deadline for entries to the awards can be extended. Local businesses now have until Thursday 30th April to enter click here for more information, including a full list of award categories and entry forms.

Judging will now take place remotely with the shortlist announce in June, and shortlisted businesses (entering relevant categories) entered into the National Chamber Awards, for a chance of winning the North West and National Awards.
