Cyber-crime can happen to any type of business in many different ways, and no business is too small to be targeted. When a cyber incident happens it can be difficult to know how to react, and how to resolve the issue as quickly as possible so business can resume as normal.
National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has created the Small Business Guide to Response and Recovery. The guide provides small to medium sized companies with information and guidance on how to prepare their response, and plan their recovery to a cyber-crime incident. It will take you through a number of steps to help you prepare for the most common threats to your business and help you identify critical systems and assets.
If you are part of a larger business, you will still be able to find useful guidance. The Incident Management section in 10 steps to Cyber Security can further help your cyber response.
