Official Charity Partner Announced For Inovus Medical In 2020

30 Jan 2020

Inovus medical is delighted to announce that St Helens Mind will be the company’s charity of the year for 2020.

St Helens Mind is a voluntary organisation working with people living in the St Helens Borough, who are aged 18+ and who experience distress or isolation because of mental health difficulties.

The charity aims to promote and preserve good mental health and to assist those experiencing mental distress to regain their full potential. Their aim is to support people aged 18+ who are experiencing mental health difficulties in the St. Helens Borough so they achieve their full potential and play an active part in community life and to help people living in St. Helens regardless of their cultural, religious and lifestyle needs.

Their services are non-judgemental and offer opportunities to develop self-esteem and confidence by encouraging and supporting involvement.

“We chose St Helens Mind as our charity of the year 2020 because of the incredible, support they provide to the local communities in the St Helens borough and because the work they do is becoming more diverse and widespread as everyone is being made more aware of the importance of good mental health. I am so happy that we can make a difference in supporting such a deserving charity.”

The Inovus Medical team are looking forward to raising much needed funds for the charity throughout the year by getting involved in many events and fundraising initiatives, the first of which took place on Saturday 18th January as four members of the Inovus team took part in a 5k fun run as part of IMSH2020 (The International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare) in San Diego. The team can be seen warming up in the San Diego Sunshine before the run kitted out in their Inovus Medical and St Helens Mind running tops.
