Nugent are calling upon socially minded businesses to help us provide some much needed festive cheer to the individuals and families that rely on their food markets (food banks) as well as the vulnerable adults and children in their care.
Nugent’s ambition is to ensure that those in our care have a wholesome and dignified Christmas, their wish list consists of the following:
- 150 teddy bears and selection boxes (or something similar)
- 210 Food hampers – containing everything needed put on a scrumptious Christmas spread – not forgetting the Brussels sprouts and the mince pies! Nugent will also be looking to source all the essentials their beneficiaries will need to get them through Christmas.
- 150 pieces of winter clothing – hats, scarfs and jumpers
- Bundles of toiletries
With many of their volunteers/staff shielding and the lockdown curtailing their traditional collections, Nugent are in need of businesses who can commit to providing larger bundles of goodies and/or cash donations. If you know anyone who may be able to help then that would be great.
In addition, Nugent have organised a bevy of festive fundraising activities for you and your colleagues to take part in this Christmas. From decking your desk to donning best (or worst!) Christmas jumper – there is something for everyone and you’ll be helping a very worthy cause.
