St Helens Chamber have a range of free short courses suitable for employees who want to keep their qualifications up to date and develop skills highly relevant to their roles.

These courses are the perfect way to train staff without taking too much time away from their daily duties, and they provide a great addition to employee’s personal development plans.

Laura Brogden, Head of Career Development, commented: “We’re pleased to announce that on top of the exciting range of courses we already offer, we will be adding two new Level 3 courses from January; Level 3 IT and Digital Marketing.

“From working closely with local employers, we identified that there was a need for skills in this area and we’re pleased to be able to support people across the Region to develop the skills employers are actively looking for.”

These two exciting new courses are being added to an already strong list of short courses. Training is designed to give attendees the exact skills and qualifications they need for career progression and to be more effective in their day to day roles.

Laura added: “We have a range of courses available to employees aged 19+ living in the Liverpool City Region, and subject to availability we can deliver courses exclusively to groups of employees and make it bespoke to your business.

“We understand it is difficult for businesses across the Region at the moment, so this is a great opportunity for companies to continue investing in their staff’s development with no cost attached for eligible employees.”

Staff on many of St Helens Chamber’s free short courses will gain national recognised qualifications, alongside practical skills, and background knowledge in each area.

Along with the new Level 3 courses, training runs regularly in areas such as:
