St Helens Chamber is holding a series of special lunch time networking events at Colours Restaurant in St Helens with special guest speakers Lawrence Kenwright, owner of property portfolio Signature Living, and Mark Mitchell, owner and CEO of car dealership giant The Mitchell Group lined up to talk at the next two events.
The ‘Lunch with…’ events are an opportunity for businesses to meet other Chamber Members, share business knowledge and interests, gain new contacts and do business in a relaxed environment, while also enjoying a two-course lunch and hearing from inspiring speakers from the business world.
Lunch with Lawrence Kenwright is taking place on 7th October and Lunch with Mark Mitchell is taking place on 25th November. Both of the events are running 12 noon – 2pm at Colours Restaurant with a complimentary drink on arrival, a two course lunch served (main and dessert) and a bar available for extra drinks.
Lawrence Kenwright has an inspiring and inspirational story, having gone from bankruptcy in 2008 to in excess of £500m turnover last year. He has a fascinating business model which he used to raise funding in the Far East.
Mark Mitchell runs a unique organisation – with turnover at £45 million and with 103 employees, he doesn’t have a HR department, and incredibly only has 4% staff turnover against the motor industry average of consistently over 40%.
Although one of the smaller regional groups, he annually features in the Top 200 for turnover in the UK, competing against some dealerships which employ 500+.
