St Helens based manufacturer MultiMesh UK Ltd is making improvements to their online marketing website strategy thanks to help from St Helens Chamber’s Business Growth Programme.

MultiMesh manufacture wire based products from standard mesh panels producing anything from fence panels through to frying baskets and even medical decontamination baskets.

Having heard about the Business Growth Programme, Paul approached the Chamber for support with growing the business.

Through the programme he met with a specialist adviser who supported him with optimising their website to be found by search engines and the implementation of an online marketing campaign.

Paul Blanchard, Managing Director at MultiMesh, said: “The programme has really helped in terms of understanding SEO so we can better market the business and promote the brand.

“SEO works totally differently to how it used to. Without the guidance and support, we could have spent a lot of time and money doing the wrong thing.

“We have now built everything we have done around that guidance so we can get the maximum exposure from Google.”

In addition to the marketing support, MultiMesh also received a free training needs analysis to assess if there were any gaps in their workforce.

“St Helens Chamber is one of the most proactive Chambers in Merseyside, if they have a way to help you they will tell you, if not they will point you in the right direction.” Paul added.

MultiMesh plans on continuing to grow by increasing their turnover, increasing profit and developing their products further.

Funded by the European Regional Development Fund and St.Helens Council, St Helens Chamber’s Business Growth Programme is designed to help businesses operating in the B2B sector who want to grow and take on new staff, but are finding obstacles in their way.

Following a free business diagnostic to identify any issues standing in the way of your growth ambitions, the Chamber’s Business Advisers put together a bespoke action plan for your business. Companies will then receive fully funded advice and support from Chamber Business Advisers and specialist business consultants, offering practical solutions to achieve their goals and improve their competitiveness.
