St Helens Chamber Member, Hayoka Ltd, has announced a new leadership programme to commence in November. The Warrior Women Leadership Programme is for women in business. It is delivered by women in business who understand the challenges and the opportunities.
Manager Director of Hayoka, Donna Dibbert, is the driving force behind the new initiative.
Donna says: “Investing in female development is really important for businesses. A recent UN report states that businesses perform up to 20% better when they employ more women in top positions. Plus investing in people development means retaining key staff which is critical in these turbulent times.
“Almost three quarters of companies that tracked gender diversity in management reported increased profits of between 5-20%, while the majority reported 10% to 15%. So, in reality businesses are short changing themselves by not investing in this sort of initiative.”
This is a 10 week programme which will help women in business believe in themselves and their success, and also to inspire others to do the same.
“Many women in business find that they are paid lip service to, glossed over and underestimated. This results in lower contributions and creativity, including problem solving. What a waste of talents and resources” says Donna.
“We want to change that by helping women to build leadership habits. This will help them improve their confidence, understand their strengths, and develop their unique leadership style. Thus enabling them to contribute to better collaboration and drive performance excellence.”
The Warrior Women Leadership Programme will run from November 23rd 2021 via zoom. There will be a 1.5-hour learning session, plus a power hour for coaching and to develop and implement plans to make use of new skills. There will also be a 4-hour workshop exploring culture and developing strategies to create lasting solutions to real world problems. This programme is about improving performance for women and also their businesses.
