AAT Access Award to Bookkeeping is a challenging yet rewarding free short course delivered at St Helens Chamber. This course covers the basics of Bookkeeping, and will set learners on the path to an Accounting career with a nationally recognised qualification, or help business owners complete their own books. Suitable for business owners and aspiring accountants alike, trainee Julie Parry excelled in this free short course, and is keen to continue her learning further.
Julie explained: “I have really enjoyed the AAT Bookkeeping course. The support from St Helens Chamber was great and our tutor, Emmanuel gave us all the knowledge we needed to get a good base knowledge in Bookkeeping.
“I enjoyed the classes and the discussions with other trainees and am excited to progress my learning further with the Level 2 qualification.”
Julie’s success was echoed by AAT Training Advisor, Emmanuel Fabiyi who added:
“Julie attended classes with enthusiasm and a determination to succeed. She was excellent in facilitating discussions which supported other’s learning too.
“I appreciated her efforts in completing classwork and tasks ahead of deadlines and this definitely contributed to her gaining the highest mark on the course. Julie demonstrated her passion for Bookkeeping in every lesson, so it was a pleasure for me to teach this course.”
Trainees on the AAT Bookkeeping courses are supported throughout by Emmanuel, who ensures students have everything they need to be successful in gaining this prestigious qualification.
Julie added: “Emmanuel sent us resources to help us revise for the final test and these we’re fantastic, everything we needed to know about bookkeeping were in the resources and I am happy to say I scored 78/80, which is 97.5%!”
