The ‘world’s biggest business event’ is set to return to Liverpool next summer, for the third time.
The International Business Festival will be held from 12th – 28th June 2018 and will play host to 100 major events and 200 world class speakers. Whilst the programme for next year’s event is being finalised past speakers include: Karen Brady CBE, sporting executive and author; Maz Conze, CEO at Dyson; and George Osborne, former Chancellor of the Exchequer.
The festival aims to help businesses connect and grow and also be inspired by business leaders and speakers in their field and beyond. As a result of the festival £600m of new business deals have been secured and £87m has been generated in export deals over the last two years.
The festival will coincide with the end of Brexit negotiations in June 2018 and will provide businesses with a golden opportunity to network and form trade deals with delegates from over 100 countries.
The festival will feature a business incubator, an innovation hub, a range of global networking events, an international market place, plus a variety of hosted events.
Festival Chairman Max Steinberg CBE said: “Our Festival consistently delivers enormous benefits to the UK and beyond. To date the International Business festival has delivered £600m of additional trade and investment to the UK economy.
“It’s our ambition that for our third festival we push the total value of deals done to £1bn. My message to companies is clear: whether you’re based in Bangalore or Birkenhead, if you want to be part of with the Festival then let’s do business.”
The International Business Festival will be held between 12 and 28 June 2018 and you can register for tickets by logging on to www.internationalbusinessfestival.com.
