A positive workplace is good for business, workers and the wider economy, which is why St Helens Council is providing funded support and guidance to local business to achieve Workplace Wellbeing Charter.

The Charter is a self-assessed national award that is widely recognised as the business standard for health, safety and wellbeing across England. It provides employers with an easy guide on how to make workplaces a supportive and productive environment where employees can flourish.

There is a wealth of research into Workplace Wellbeing initiatives and the positive effects across the organisation, such as a reduction in absence rates, lower staff turnover and a boost to productivity. And if you’re already doing all of these things then it acts as a mark of prestige, giving recognition to top employers!
