St Helens Chamber’s Graduate Hub is designed to give graduates a range of skills and qualifications to complement their degrees and make them more valuable to employers.
Over the course of three weeks graduates receive training in IT Skills, Online Marketing, Leadership & Management, Business Improvement Techniques, Customer Service, Communications Skills and Workplace Health & Safety.
A 50% wage subsidy is available to businesses recruiting a graduate from our Graduate Hub, paying 50% of a national minimum wage salary for their first six months. This is a great way to assess whether the graduate fits in well with the company and can provide a route into a full time role for the graduate, whilst making recruitment for a graduate role within your business hassle free.
The Chamber is currently working with four graduates with a wide range of expertise and skills who are looking for a position within a local business.
