Congratulations on receiving your GCSE results! No matter what your results, you can be proud of all the hard work which went into getting them. Whether your grades are better than expected or could do with a little improvement, an Apprenticeship can be just what you need to get started in your dream career.
Take a look below and see how we can help you take the next step…
Not got the results you wanted?
We know this can be disappointing, but all is not lost! St Helens Chamber Apprenticeships can help you get your foot on the career ladder with Apprenticeship training. Even if you’ve got no work experience, a Fast Track to Apprenticeship programme can help you learn all about what’s expected of you in the workplace and get you some all-important work experience with a relevant local company; and also help you into an Apprenticeship role.
An Apprenticeship will give you the chance to still gain the nationally recognised qualifications you need to get ahead, but you’ll also be able to take these qualifications a step further by training in a real workplace. We can also help you with your Maths and English if you need it, so even without the results you wanted there are other ways to get the qualifications you need for your dream career – you will even start earning as soon as you secure an Apprenticeship role!
Completing an Apprenticeship doesn’t mean you have to compromise on how far you can take your academic study either; with Apprenticeship qualifications ranging from Level 2 all the way to degree Apprenticeships there’s no limit to how far you can take your training – all without the student debt that those continuing to sixth form/university will have.

Got great GCSE results?
Well done! You’re in an excellent position to choose where you want to go from here. You could progress onto a college course or into sixth form and complete your A-Levels; however you could also turn your talents to an industry-led study programme.
If you have GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, you’ll be eligible to enrol on one of our Study Programmes. Delivered in Digital Marketing, IT and Coding and International Trade and Logistics these study programmes last seven months and will give you everything you need to start your career.
You’ll work towards a Level 2 Qualification while benefiting from a work placement, all expenses paid study trip, free driving lessons, free industry days, access to CV and interview help and more! You’ll also get a guaranteed interview for a Level 3 Apprenticeship on completion – which is the equivalent of an A Level qualification and means you will start your career at a higher level.
