Through a partnership with university researchers, students and staff the Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory creates pioneering low carbon goods, processes and services for businesses in the region.
The Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory team can work with your business to recognise opportunities for low carbon improvement, to bring about economic and environmental benefits to both your business and the wider community.
With direct access to services and facilities at Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool and Lancaster University, businesses can benefit from unbiased, specialist advice and access to innovative resources, giving your company a significant edge on the competition, financially as well as environmentally.
The project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. In most cases the business assistance is free and includes all initial reports and advice. If your company then wishes to pursue the recommendations this will be at your cost. PhDs are supplemented by the project and require a contribution.
The project is open to SMEs based in the Liverpool City Region with an annual turnover not exceeding €50 million, and/or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding €43 million
