When you start a business, getting the word out there can be a daunting task. There are a lot of ways to let people know about your products and services, and ultimately you want to make sure that the effort you put in to marketing results in new customers.
Our Business Adviser, George Betts shares his top tips for Start Ups who want to market their business.
He said: “In marketing everything starts with why. Why will they use my service? Why will they buy from me? Why will they connect on social media?
“It’s not about telling customers what you do, it’s about convincing them why they should buy your product or use your service.”
When marketing your business, George says there are three things you need to think about:
Why – Why will they use your service?
Problem – What problem are you solving for the customer?
Benefit – What benefit is the customer getting from using your products or services.
