GDPR – Check your business is taking the right steps

26 Feb 2018

Business

The new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) will come into force on the 25th May 2018 and replace the current Data Protection Act  with more stringent requirements and larger fines for non-compliance.

The new regulations will have a significant impact on every business within the UK, so it is important for your business to take the next steps now so you are ready for the change.

Jayne Egginton, Director of Qdos Consulting, provider of the Chamber Protect service,  has provided a step by step guide to GDPR, so you can ensure your business is making the right steps.

As a St Helens Chamber Member you have access to free legal advice through our ‘Chamber Protect’ services, delivered by Qdos consulting.

Chamber Members can access a free Legal Advice Line and have access to guidance notes and audit form templates online.
