How Does the Programme Work?
The Fast Track to Employment programme offers diverse training across various industries, ensuring it can be tailored to your unique career goals. Let’s take a closer look at the routes you can take:
Aged 16-18: If you’re eager to launch your career through an apprenticeship or another role, we provide comprehensive support, including:
- Employability training, preparing you for the workplace.
- Five weeks of invaluable work experience in your chosen field.
- Access to CV and interview guidance from qualified Careers Advisers.
- Opportunities to gain essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours in fields like Construction, Warehousing and Manufacturing, Business Administration, Childcare, Customer Service, Accountancy, and Adult Care.
- Learning in a professional business environment, treating you like an employee from day one.
- Exclusive access to Apprenticeship and other vacancies with esteemed local employers, along with early access to Jobs & Apprenticeship Fairs.
Aged 19-24: If you’re seeking an apprenticeship or another job, this path is designed for you. It includes:
- An accredited Level 2 qualification in Personal Development for Employability, coupled with Level 2 Business Administration, Essential Digital Skills, and Cybersecurity.
- The opportunity for a two-week work experience in your chosen field.
- A variety of short training courses to enhance your CV with valuable skills and qualifications.
- Early access to Jobs & Apprenticeships Fairs, granting you access to job listings before the wider public.
- Priority access to Sector Based Work Academies, ensuring guaranteed interviews upon course completion.
- Intensive mentoring by qualified Careers Advisers, continuing until you secure employment.
