The Department of International Trade for the North West is hosting a business breakfast event to help companies explore business opportunities in the US.

The United States is the single biggest consumer market in the world, made up of 323 million people with an average consumer income of $56,516.

In 2016 the country’s GP growth rate was 1.6% and is expected to rise to 2.3% in 2017 on a GDP of $18.56 trillion.

This event is aimed at companies looking to export to the US for the first time and also at those already exporting who want to extend their reach.

The Department for International Trade (DIT) will be on hand to advise on the support available to companies looking to export and MSIF will advise on the funding available to help your company grow.

The breakfast event will feature guest speaker Roger Frampton, who has had a successful career in the software and technology markets including taking two companies public to help launch them in the US. Ten years ago, he and two co-directors founded ExportAction, assisting UK companies to establish, develop and operate in the US.

Since then, ExportAction has helped more than 250 UK companies, across all sectors, to market in the US.  This is a breakfast event that will finish at 9am for anyone needing to head back to the office, but they will also provide an opportunity for further questions for those who wish to stay.

The event will take place on 14th September from 7:30am-09:00am, with the opportunity to network until 10:30am, at Oh Me Oh My, West Africa House, 25 Water Street, Liverpool L2 0RG.
