Commercial energy broker Resolve Energy has had a number of reasons to celebrate over the summer, after continued growth with St Helens Chamber support.

The company, which has recently moved into new office premises, has recently recruited two Chamber Study Programme graduates to support their growing sales operations.

The new appointments came as the business celebrated the employment of its 26themployee, and its fifth year in business this July.

Resolve Energy are experts at contract negotiation and deliver bespoke advice and energy contracts, helping thousands of businesses to reduce their energy bills.

Since founding the company in 2011 business partners Anthony Nightingale, Colin Marshall and Michael Marshall have used their combined industry experience to grow a successful business and the company has gone from strength to strength, achieving £1m in sales in year three and £1.5m in year four, with the expectation of exceeding £2m in sales in their fifth year.

Last year the company welcomed a group of Sales and Marketing Study Programme students from the Chamber who spent a morning in their office. Impressed by the high calibre of students, and planning their expansion into new premises, they decided to attend a Meet the Apprentice event at the Chamber.

As a result the company employed two Study Programme students, Olivia Woods and Kieron Hackett as Trainee Sales Consultants.

Sales Director Colin, commented: “We have taken on two candidates, Olivia and Kieron, who came to see us at our old offices. We were more than happy to give them their first full-time jobs and they’ve adapted well to the challenging sales environment.”

“They are both making a positive contribution to the business. We’re training and coaching them to develop the necessary industry knowledge and sales skills to forge a successful career with us.”
