With just four days to go to the first St Helens Business Fair, the countdown is well under way!
Organised by the Chamber, the event plans to raise the profile of St Helens businesses and give them a platform to showcase themselves in front of hundreds of potential customers and suppliers from around the region.
Sponsored by Lloyds IP and NatWest, the Business Fair will be the largest business to business networking event in the area, with over 100 exhibitors and hundreds more delegates attending.
Taking place 28th April, 10.30am – 3pm at Langtree Park Stadium, the event will put the spotlight on a wide range of businesses from a variety of sectors and attract hundreds of visitors from St Helens and the region.
Tracy Mawson, Director of Business Services, at the Chamber commented: “We are very excited to be delivering this event for St Helens businesses. We have lots of excellent companies in the Borough and we need to shout about it and make sure that businesses around the city region and beyond, know what great products and services are available on their doorstep here in St Helens.
“The event has been very well received and we are pleased to welcome a number of support sponsors on board, including Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool City Region Local Growth Hub, Vinyline Graphics and Zut Media.”
As well as the main exhibition area which will be spread over two floors, throughout the day a programme of free business seminars will be taking place and a business lounge will be open all day, providing visitors and exhibitors alike with an informal environment to make contacts and do business.
Tracy Mawson adds: “The Business Fair will present a truly unique networking opportunity and genuine prospects of winning new business and making new contacts. The event is open to businesses of all sizes and sectors so I would encourage all businesses in the area to spare an hour or two and attend – your new suppliers might be on your doorstep!”
