The annual St Helens Chamber Golf Day, held on the 22nd June, proved to be a great day of networking and entertainment for Members and Non-Members alike.

Held at Grange Park Golf Club and sponsored by Yorkshire Bank, the day started with breakfast and a 9 hole practice round for those who wanted to brush up their skills before the main event.

Golfers then took to the green, entering in a variety of competitions such as Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive.

After playing 18 holes on a beautifully kept course, delegates finished the day with a three course evening meal followed by the awards presentation and announcement of this years Chamber Cup winner.

Attendees commented on the fantastic green at Grange Park and on the superb organisation that made the event a real success.

Garry Pennington, Sales Manager at Caldo Oils said: “I would like to say a big thank you to Rachel and the team at St Helens Chamber for putting on such a great event. It was probably one of the best Golf Days to date. The course, the venue and the organisation of the event was excellent, well done. I am already looking forward to next year!”

Rordon Douse, Operations Director, at Fibre Drums said: ” My guests had a great day. Being able to turn up to the event and have everything done for you including food and drinks, make it a really great day.”
