Life as we know it has changed dramatically and we have all had to adapt our way of working. Over the last few months we have worked hard to ensure we could continue to support our Members and local businesses to access business networking opportunities, by offering virtual events, but as we move into the Autumn we are hoping to start returning to physical events.
Our first ‘in-person’ Business Breakfast since lockdown takes place on, Tuesday 15th September at 7.45.
As well as to being able to catch-up with your fellow members and network with other businesses, we are delighted to welcome Steve Smith from Business Doctors as our guest speaker.
Steve will be discussing the unprecedented events of 2020 and how it has affected business.
This brief session will provide pointers on navigating the new normal by highlighting five key factors to enable setting a revised game plan, by encouraging business owners to take a step back and objectively look at their enterprise. Starting with personal aspirations and then considering the purpose, values and vision, the challenge is to define the new normal, not simply observe it.
As we start to re-introduce our events programme, the health and safety of both our guests and our staff will be our number one priority.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and for the safety of both Chamber employees and members of the public, events and training will now be held at a limited capacity.
The Chamber and its training rooms are COVID-secure, with rigorous cleaning and safety measures in place. A copy of the risk assessment can be viewed here.
Please note that places at the Business Breakfast are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
