Chamber Members Bluebird Care provide care to adults over the age of 18 in St Helens and the surrounding areas.
Three members of the Bluebird team have been nominated for awards at the National Bluebird Care Awards, taking place on September 13th in London.
Care assistant Valerie Dickenson has been nominated for the ‘Carer of the Year’ award, Care Manager Fearn Jones has been nominated for ‘Manager of the Year’, whilst Care Supervisor Clare Toole has been put forward for ‘Team Member of the Year’.
Jan Walsh, Director at Bluebird Care St Helens, commented: “I am extremely proud of all my team for being winners of the Bluebird Care awards for our region.”
Jan’s belief in providing the best quality training to all staff to enable the company to grow and become the best Care Provider in the area, is coming to fruition.
Jan added: “This has all happened due to the dedication of our Care Manager, Training Manager and all the office staff.
“Each and every day the team aim to achieve a higher standard of quality care and strive for ongoing improvements to our services for our customers.
“All our team of carers turn up each day determined to excel and do even better than the day before. The team work and dedication from all staff is second to none.”
The Bluebird Care Awards take place on an annual basis to celebrate the commitment shown by staff nationally and recognise those within the company that have demonstrated great commitment and loyalty towards delivering a high quality of care.
