Merseytravel is offering a programme of cycling events to encourage more people to get on their bike.
There are free cycling training courses for anyone over 16 who lives, works or studies in Merseyside. The courses are based on National Standard Cycle Training outcomes and focus on key skills like how to be seen by traffic, cycling at night-time or in bad weather.
Merseytravel is also offering free courses to give you the skills you need to fix your bike.
Bite size bike fix courses are available as part of Freewheeling in Merseyside. Courses are flexible and you can choose what to learn from the basics of bike maintenance such as cleaning and adjusting, fixing punctures, adjusting brakes and setting up gears.
