Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committees on Justices of the Peace for Merseyside is currently recruiting for Magistrates in the Merseyside area.
If you are a person of integrity, have common sense, the ability to listen to both sides of an argument and make decisions and you would like to give something back to the community, apply to become a Magistrate. Magistrates don’t need to be legally qualified or have any experience, as training is provided. All you need is a willingness to voluntarily serve in court at least 13 full days a year.
These positions are not salaried and are purely voluntary and suitable for people who are interested in serving their community.
