This autumn, St Helens Chamber is delighted to welcome leading Global Investment Banking, Securities and Investment Management firm Goldman Sachs to the Chamber to launch their Small Businesses Programme.
10,000 Small Businesses UK is funded by Goldman Sachs Foundation, and delivered by Said Business School, part of the University of Oxford.
The programme is designed for the leaders of small businesses who have the ambition and the potential to generate substantial growth in their enterprises.
The event, which is free to attend will take place at St Helens Chamber on the 4th October, 9am-12:30pm.
Tracy Mawson, Deputy Chief Executive at St Helens Chamber, said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome Goldman Sachs to St Helens and provide the opportunity for businesses from St Helens and surrounding areas to be part of the 10,000 Small Business Programme.
“The programme provides an excellent model for small to medium sized businesses to identify and execute the steps to scale their business, creating more employment and expand into new markets.”
Business people should attend the event if:
- You are the primary owner/Co-owner of the business, or the most senior decision maker.
- The business has been operating for at least three years and has more than five employees.
- The business has an annual turnover of at least £250,000.
- The business is scalable and capable of generating additional local employment.
Delegates will also hear from RTC North who will provide information about research and development support and funding available from Innovate UK.
