Adlib are a recent beneficiary of the Liverpool City Region Capital Grant Fund, delivered by St Helens Chamber.
The new Capital Grant Fund is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is open to SMEs based in the Liverpool City Region that are looking to develop their business with capital investments, including but not limited to:
- Digitisation
- Innovation
- Low carbon technology adoption
- Reaching new markets
This fund is part of a range of support that has been brought together by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and made available through Growth Platform, the Liverpool City Region Growth Company.
Chris Bird, Head of Finance at Adlib, commented: “Adlib received a capital grant of £75,000 to support growth plans at our office in Knowsley. The last couple of years have been a struggle due to the Covid pandemic, and since venues and events have re-opened, we were determined to get back to business as usual”.
“The grant fund was delivered by St Helens Chamber, and once we had confirmed our eligibility criteria, we found the application process was very straightforward.”
Adlib are event technology experts for creative production. They provide audio, lighting, video, staging, and rigging to rent, buy, or install anywhere in the UK and Europe.
Adlib used their grant funding to purchase the equipment they needed to grow and develop their business and create new jobs in the Region.
Chris continued: “The grant, which assisted us in purchasing new equipment, was essential to our business growth plans, and we expect to create at least eight new jobs within the Liverpool City Region.”
