Speak to your Membership Manager
When you joined we will have assigned you a Membership Manager, their role is to connect you with everything the chamber has to offer. You can drop them an email or phone for a quick chat anytime and they’ll be able to help point you in the right direction, whether you need advice on exporting or a mailing list for a new campaign.
Getting to know your Membership Manager will help them to make more tailored recommendations, whether it just be over email or face to face make sure you use them to help save your business time accessing your Member benefits.
Attend free networking events
Your Membership includes free access to networking events. Networking provides unsurpassed opportunities for your business as you never know who you will meet. People at networking events are there because they want to make connections and/or offer their services to local business people, so getting your business name out there in the local community is a great way to support local business and generate interest and leads at the same time.
Our Business Breakfasts are very popular with Members, attracting both small and large businesses. These events run monthly and are completely free for Members (saving you £200 a year!), with lucrative business deals being forged at the event.
We also run our Business Fair each year, where businesses from all over the borough come together to network and take advantage of the informative guest speakers. Members receive discounted stand rates, so for only £139+vat you could get your business and its services in front of hundreds of local people and businesses who are actively looking to network and use your services!
Take advantage of marketing opportunities
When you joined St Helens Chamber, you may have seen that you are entitled to a number of different benefits which could help you market your business to prospective customers.
You’ll get a free listing on our online directory, it’s important that your contact information is kept updated as this is a way for other companies or the wider public to contact you; outdated contact information may be a deterrent – so keep your Membership Manager updated or log into your online account.
We will also share your news in our digital Comment magazine. This is circulated to a wide range of businesses across St Helens and Merseyside, so it provides great coverage for your business! If you have a story you’d like to share then contact email@example.com to submit your news.

To back all this up, there’s also a website with approximately 200 downloadable legal documents; all completely free with no extra charges.
St Helens Chamber Members can also access discounted mediation services through Mediatelegal, who help solve issues without going to court or a tribunal; often saving valuable time and money in the process. Mediation is completely confidential and impartial and can help you come up with solutions without the need for courts.
If you do need legal help, it is much more cost (and time) effective to use your Chamber benefits to help you address any issues; with help also available for HR matters, Health and Safety and Tax!
