Sandon Global specialise in advanced anilox print roller manufacturing and refurbishment. The Runcorn based business has been backed by a £2m boost from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s Strategic Investment Fund.
Sandon Global, a Strategic Member of St Helens Chamber, manufacture and refurbish specialist anilox rollers, sleeves and cylinders for the print industry and currently employs a team of 70 staff at Manor Park, Runcorn.
The £2m investment will go towards the company creating up to ten apprenticeships and 30 jobs. It comprises a £250,000 grant and a £1.75m loan.
Steve Rotheram, metro mayor of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, said: “Our £500m Strategic Investment Fund enables us to back companies and projects that deliver good, quality jobs for local people. It’s absolutely right that we are able to support Sandon Global, one of our leading advanced manufacturing companies.
“Our investment will enable Sandon Global to continue to expand and prosper, right here in the Liverpool City Region.”
