This free course is ideal if you’re just starting out in hair and beauty and want an understanding of the industry so you can succeed in a job in the area or to move on to further study.
Qualification:
City & Guilds Level 1 Award in an Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector
Course Content:
This course consists of two units:
- Introduction to the hair and beauty sector
Styling hair – blow dry, use of correct products, use of styling tool
Basic hair up’s – using styling products to secure styles
- Presenting a professional imagine in a salon
Progression and related jobs:
On completing this course you could progress onto our Level 2 Hairdressing course, or could find employment as a Stylist, Hairdresser or Apprentice Hairdresser.
