If your business is looking to enhance your social value and give back to the local community – getting involved with our Education Programmes provides the perfect opportunity to do this.

Businesses can get involved with the St Helens Chamber Education Programme in several ways, and each gives you a rewarding way to help inspire the workforce of tomorrow.

EMPLOYER SUPPORT

Our Schools and FE Colleges are always looking for Employer support to enhance the students careers provision and would love for employers to do just that! There are a few ways that you can get involved.

Enterprise Advisers – (EAs)  partner with local secondary schools or colleges, on a voluntary basis, to use their skills, business experience and networks to help them develop a strong careers programme that supports all students. You will be assigned a member of the LCR Careers Hub team to facilitate this relationship and ensure your time is best spent supporting the next generation.

Give an Hour – The Give an Hour campaign invites you to make a difference to young people across Liverpool City Region by giving an hour of your time.

Creating Careers in the Curriculum – Collaborate with a local school or college to develop lesson plans that use the world of work to teach key curriculum concepts to students. This process will be facilitated by the LCR Careers Hub and requires just two meetings with the school or college. All resources will be branded and shared across Liverpool City Region.
