
We are thrilled to have been awarded funding by the UK Community Renewal Fund. St Helens has been identified as one of the Government’s priority places for investment into skills, local business, communities and to help people into employment.
Together to Zero will see local businesses receive funding and skills training to become greener as part of Liverpool City Region’s commitment to become Net Zero carbon by 2040, as well as working with local schools to raise aspirations for young people to pursue exciting sustainable career opportunities in the local region.
Our vision is to build a cohort of #TogetherToZero ambassadors that lead the change we all want to see. We will do this by inspiring children, developing and up skilling leaders, workforces, and supply chains across St Helens.

To start you on your Net Zero journey, we have created a series of fully funded short courses to help local businesses realise their Net Zero capabilities. Starting from April until June, the course comprises of three sessions and is designed for micro, small and medium-sized organisations, with a passion for reducing their impact. All three sessions must be completed before certification is granted.
You will gain an understanding of why Climate Change is a business issue, the fundamental, practical principles for how to achieve Net Zero and what kind of mindset is needed to make more conscious impact-led decisions.
