Inspiring Educators Project

This exciting new programme will help raise awareness in your teaching staff of the range of employment Growth Sectors within the Liverpool City Region.
Focusing on The Visitor Economy, Warehousing and Logistics, Creative and Media and Advanced Manufacturing sectors, the Inspiring Educators Project will develop teachers’ knowledge and understanding of careers within these sectors, so they can better inform their pupils about career options.
Between October 2017 and March 2018, nine half day ‘Inspiring Educator’ events will take place across St Helens, Widnes and Runcorn.

Teachers will be able to develop a greater understanding of local skills gaps, emerging careers and employment opportunities in order to inspire and share that knowledge with their peers and students. They will also be able to find out what it’s like to work in the sector, hear from young people about their own journey and how the sector is linked to the growth of the Liverpool City Region.
