Every session of our Education Programmes breaks down pupil’s perceived barriers, and encourages them to dream big and aim high when it comes to their own career aspirations.
Its vital that young people have access to careers advice and guidance, and to educate them on the opportunities open to them in our local area.
With every session, we’re opening young people’s eyes to career opportunities they may never have dreamed of, and here’s how…
What we do in schools
We currently are running two programmes for schools, each designed to inspire and motivate pupils to succeed.
The sessions open pupil’s eyes to the types of careers available to them in their local area – and shows them that they can achieve anything they set their mind to!
Every session of the Education Programme breaks down barriers pupils perceive, and encourages them to dream big and aim high when it comes to their own career aspirations.
Pupils are excited to take part in interactive sessions, and always come away energised and with a whole new perspective on their own skills and capabilities…
What programmes are available?
Learning to Work
The Learning to Work programme is designed to provide schools with high quality career related learning and personal development support.
The programme is split into 5 sessions, each designed to give young people an opportunity to learn about themselves & explore opportunities.
Ready, Steady, Green
This project is aimed at inspiring children by highlighting potential career paths they could follow in the Low Carbon sector.
It will also educate pupils on how making green energy choices can affect them and benefit the community they live in.
Why work with the Education team?
St Helens Chamber’s Education team will help put your school at the heart of the business community and provide opportunities to showcase your school and the value of your services to local employers.
We can deliver fun and engaging educational workshops, which give your pupils the chance to learn more about the world around them and to start thinking about careers in the local area when they finish school.
Who are we?
With a wealth of experience in teaching, education and business support our Education team are extremely passionate about the work they do and the impact we have on the lives of young people.

Along with the team, who makes this all possible?
We couldn’t offer this programme without the support of our sponsors.
This group of businesses allow us to deliver the programme at a reduced cost to 31 schools in the area.
Each business has their own reason for sponsoring the programme, and all of them are giving back to the local community and inspiring the next generation to aim higher.
Thank you to…
E-Verve Energy
McDonalds
Brendon International
Starbank Panel Products
Approved Power Services
2U Foods
NGE
With further sponsorship, we can reach even more schools and inspire even more local children to aim high and show them their goals really are achievable!
We’re currently working with 31 schools in the area, but there are still 25 Primary schools without the programme – and we can only offer this with your help.
