What is the St Helens Business Vehicle Grant?
As part of the ongoing progress and support of the Air Quality Action Plan, the Department for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), have provided investment that will enable St Helens Borough Council and St Helens Chamber to help local businesses tackle the reduction in NO2 emissions across the borough.
The St Helens Business Vehicle Grant will enable those with non-compliant commercial vehicles to upgrade their vehicle and save money when travelling in clean air zones, and of course reducing their impact on local air quality.
Who is eligible?
If you are a business registered and operating in St Helens, or a Taxi Driver who has been licensed as a Taxi driver in St Helens for no less than last 12 months, you are potentially eligible to apply.
